About Erin C. Ferguson

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Strathclyde Law School.

My research examines the impact of privatisation (broadly defined to include outsourcing) on access to information under freedom of information (FOI) legislation. I want to know how new models of service delivery affect access to information and which legal mechanisms are best suited to preserving access.

I am also a qualified librarian broadly interested in issues pertaining to access to information, information literacy, and education. I have worked in legal, academic, public, and government libraries.
